Hey listener, here is a lost episode from the back of our vault. Enjoy this recap of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
2
:Autobots and Maximals and Terrorcons, oh my!
3
:Anthony Ramos and battles and a soundtrack that's fly!
4
:When the Beasts are in the house, oh my God, danger!
5
:In the year 2023, Transformers remains more than meets the eye.
6
:Welcome to Hip Hop Movie Club.
7
:This is a show for Gen X hip hop fans who want to relive the glory days and reconsider
classic and modern hip hop films from a current day perspective.
8
:Together we'll explore some of the larger societal issues raised in these films.
9
:Whether you have or have not seen Transformers Rise of the Beasts before, we'll help you
decide if you should take the time to watch it now.
10
:Either way, you'll be a smarter hip hop fan by the end of this episode.
11
:In the next 30 minutes or so, you'll get all this and more.
12
:We are three old heads who put their old heads together to vibe on these films for you.
13
:I'm DynoWright, podcaster, filmmaker, long time hip hop fan and I saw House of Pain in
:
14
:I'm JB, 80s and 90s nostalgia junkie, long time hip hop fan.
15
:As one of my New Year's resolutions next year, I just might make it to memorize all the
lyrics to They Want Efx by DAS EFX.
16
:I'm Boogie, a DJ, longtime hip hop fan.
17
:And I just saw confirmation that Will Smith, AKA the Fresh Prince, did in fact copy
Rakim's flow for the hip hop classic, Summertime.
18
:I saw that headline also.
19
:Me too.
20
:In this episode, we'll answer the question.
21
:Could this movie transform Gen Z into 90s hip hop fans?
22
:Transformers Rise of the Beasts is a 2023 sci-fi action thriller set in 1994.
23
:The film follows ex-military tech guru Noah Diaz and a young historian Elena Wallace as they team up with Optimus Prime and the Autobots in a battle for the coveted Transwarp
24
:Key, which if it falls in the hands of the Terrorcons would threaten the future of Earth
and all of mankind.
25
:All right folks, you may not think of
26
:Transformers, Rise of the Beasts, as a hip hop film, but it certainly was, and we will get
into why we chose this one right away.
27
:We're in it for the hip hop.
28
:Set in 94, which I believe is the golden age of hip hop, we're old heads, and you know, that's our wheelhouse.
29
:So that's why we considered it.
30
:But let's discuss some of those awesome 90s hip hop tracks and maybe like where they
appear in the scenes, et cetera.
31
:That's really what caught our attention for this film.
32
:Boogie, I know you have a lot on this, so you wanna kick us off with that?
33
:Yeah, I'm gonna kick it off.
34
:If I talk too much, I'll talk all day about this.
35
:I absolutely love this movie because of the nostalgia that it brought back.
36
:I mean, 1994, yeah, I graduated from high school.
37
:And this movie seems to take place right around the time I was getting ready to graduate
or I just graduated.
38
:So let's hit it off.
39
:First thing I noticed was C.R.E.A.M.
40
:by the Wu-Tang Clan.
41
:And it appears as...
42
:The film starts to show 1994 New York City.
43
:You get an introduction to Noah sitting in his room.
44
:He has several hip hop posters on the wall.
45
:He has the Wu-Tang Clan poster that I noticed.
46
:I saw a Poetic Justice poster, which is a film we reviewed.
47
:Saw a Ready to Die, Big Poppa and Nas posters.
48
:You get a glimpse of some of the cassettes that he has on his desk.
49
:I saw a De La Soul's Three Feet High and Rising.
50
:Mm-hmm.
51
:and Cypress Hills Black Sunday.
52
:And it looks like he was repairing a cable box to hook somebody up with some free cable, which is a thing that happened in the hood quite often.
53
:But once he hits the button, Juice pops aboard a television, which is also a film we
reviewed.
54
:And there's some other films, there's other songs throughout the movie.
55
:I peeped a little, checked the rhyme in the background.
56
:Anything the old school remix featuring SWV featuring also the Wu-Tang Clan.
57
:That's when we get our introduction to Elena as she pulls up to work.
58
:And the remix, like I said, has features from the Wu-Tang Clan members.
59
:And also, like I mentioned, there was also the cover from the album cover was actually on
Noah's Wall in the beginning of the film also.
60
:So we see a little bit of that.
61
:One of my favorite tracks from Nas.
62
:represent when Noah and Reek were sitting outside of the building they're trying to plan
their heist and they were sitting in one of my favorite cars of all time and a red Acura
63
:Legend.
64
:A car that I always wanted and never got it.
65
:I was so disappointed when they discontinued them.
66
:But yeah, I'll leave it at that.
67
:I'll let you guys pick up on some of the other songs as well.
68
:Yeah, no, great way to kick us off Boogie.
69
:I noticed all those songs and the nostalgia in the room.
70
:You got it.
71
:Also one of the big songs that was played, and I know DynoWright has a great appreciation for this one is they played Rebirth of Slick by Digible Planets when Noah was going to
72
:steal the Porsche, which turned out to be Mirage, the Transformer, the Autobot.
73
:And there was a funny line there when, cause was it?
74
:Reek was talking to him through the headphones and he said, you have a robbing mixtape?
75
:He's like, no, it's a liberating mixtape because that song came on throughout the entire
scene where he was trying to break into and hotwire the car.
76
:And then shortly after Mirage takes off and is like riding by itself and Noah's kind of freaked out and there's a high-speed chase the cop.
77
:And after he crashed with the cop, the choice is yours comes on by a Black Sheep.
78
:That was another great track there.
79
:Dyno Wright, you must have enjoyed the hip hop as well throughout.
80
:Of course, almost exclusively hip hop songs in this soundtrack and the score, so that was
really fun.
81
:They use Mama Said Knock You Out for reincarnation.
82
:Yeah, I was going to spoil it, but fine.
83
:People probably saw this already.
84
:But anyway, yeah, that was a really fun use of...
85
:LL Cool J.
86
:So yeah, they definitely went into the crates for this one.
87
:So there's other little bits of nostalgia throughout too, which brings us right back to 94 when Noah is applying for a job and the security guard is sitting there watching a monitor
88
:and it's the OJ Simpson trial, which the summer of 94 was all about that, the trial of OJ
Simpson.
89
:And there was also the funny line, and I can't remember it was Mirage that stated, but
when the Autobots were joking around.
90
:Or maybe it was in the car, I think, when he said, did you hear Marky Mark is leaving the
funky bunch and now he's going into acting?
91
:Yeah.
92
:That was fun.
93
:When they were riding, yeah, Mirage said that to Noah.
94
:Yeah, yeah.
95
:Mirage.
96
:Go ahead.
97
:So, so bring it back to the rebirth of slick.
98
:So that song, coincidentally, won Grammy for best rap performance by a duo group in 1994.
99
:So I was like, wow.
100
:And it was funny because it's like, I was digging, I was digging.
101
:So like, so I grew up watching a lot of the Transformers when I was younger, right?
102
:So
103
:Mirage and Jazz were two of my favorites.
104
:And I remember in the original Transformers movie, they introduced Jazz, but they didn't show him in his natural gen one form, which was, which coincidentally was a Porsche.
105
:So they brought back, so they introduced Mirage in Jazz's old form, because Jazz used to,
in the cartoon, look exactly like Mirage did in his film.
106
:And they're playing the jazzy track as they introduce them.
107
:And I'm like, huh.
108
:Hehehehe
109
:It works, yeah.
110
:There was a funny line, Mirage was saying, Wu Tang's in the house.
111
:It's also, just kind of random.
112
:That was funny.
113
:Oh man.
114
:Oh, another big hit that they used, Hypnotize.
115
:The Notorious B.I.G.
116
:They used it twice.
117
:Yeah, they used it as Noah and Mirage were rolling up when they were plotting to leave to
head towards Peru.
118
:And that scene was really cool how Mirage rolls up and transforming Noah just walks out of it.
119
:I was like, that was kind of cool how they did that.
120
:Then they played it again at the end when there's the cut scene.
121
:And I don't know if I want to get out about way too much, but yeah, there was a cut scene
in the credits and they showed that song playing again in the background, but it was good.
122
:So let's dig a little more to the nostalgia you mentioned having some of the Transformers
when you were a child.
123
:So which ones did you have again and do you still have any?
124
:Um, yeah, I had quite a bit.
125
:The ones that I can remember off the top of my head, I had Megatron, the original
Megatron, which I actually still do have.
126
:Sunstreaker, I still have.
127
:Skywarp, I still have.
128
:I actually had Sunstreaker and Skywarp before the cartoon even came out.
129
:Yeah.
130
:Optimus Prime, I still have, the original.
131
:I have Slag.
132
:one of the Triceratops DinoBot, Cliffjumper, Ironhide.
133
:Oh, Ironhide I actually had it before the cartoon came out as well.
134
:I had a couple of the Insecticons, Shrapnel and Kickback, which I still have, I think I still have Shrapnel.
135
:Blaster I still have.
136
:I had Jazz or Prowl, but I can't remember which one I had.
137
:I had a couple of the Constructicons.
138
:I know I still have one of them.
139
:And I got a couple of other random Gen 2 Transformers.
140
:I think I still have somewhere between 10 and 15 still.
141
:Not in mint condition, but they're still pretty good.
142
:They're probably better than fair.
143
:They're probably about good or very good condition.
144
:Mm-hmm.
145
:DynoWright, which ones did you have?
146
:I know you were a big collector of Transformers as well.
147
:Between my brother and then my youngest brother, we had all of them.
148
:It was easier to just name which ones I didn't have.
149
:Hahaha!
150
:That's awesome.
151
:Honestly, I know we didn't have SixGun, but we had almost all of them.
152
:There wasn't one, I can't think of one we didn't have because we had them all.
153
:Between the three of us, eventually we went having all of them.
154
:We had Fortress Maximus, we had Metroplex, we had Trypticon, Omega Supreme eventually.
155
:So between Star Wars and Transformers, those were the two big ones that we had.
156
:At least I had
157
:middle brother and me.
158
:That was our era for toys and eventually we wound up having almost all of them.
159
:And my youngest brother now has them all with him so he's keeping that flame alive or
spark if you will.
160
:Ha, Spark.
161
:That's awesome.
162
:I was huge into sports and baseball cards and everything, but Transformers caught my eye,
but I only had one, and I remember it was a red sports car, so I looked it up and it was
163
:called Side Swipe, yeah.
164
:Side Swipe.
165
:These things are valuable too, if you're in the box, they're really valuable.
166
:Even loose, they're worth maybe 50 to $75, so yeah.
167
:But they were so much fun, and I know I was joking with you guys.
168
:off the air maybe a week or so ago we were talking about Transformers.
169
:I had several more of the GoBots because they were much cheaper.
170
:Couldn't really afford the Transformers, but the GoBots were probably a third of the price.
171
:They weren't as flexible in terms of what you could do.
172
:They would probably break a little bit more easily, but they didn't expand and have like
the wingspan and the range of motion of the Transformers.
173
:But if you remember GoBots, I had a few of those as well.
174
:Yeah, but I just had the one Transformer and then.
175
:bunch of GoBots.
176
:Yeah, the GoBots, they can move at the shoulders, but they didn't have the elbow.
177
:Move at the hips, but no knees.
178
:Yeah.
179
:Yeah, it's like the no frills brand of Transformers, Kirkland brand or Walmart brand.
180
:Kirkland brand robot.
181
:Transformers.
182
:Yeah.
183
:Yeah, I was always jealous of everybody that had all the other ones.
184
:Wasn't in our family budget, but it was fun.
185
:The GoBots were still fun to play around with.
186
:Because my brother, my older brother was really big into Hot Wheels too.
187
:So this was just a...
188
:the next evolution of just the toys you can play around with.
189
:So my brother had cases and cases of the Hot Wheels, we'd play on the tracks.
190
:And then when Transformers came out, popular like in 84, 85, we'd play with those.
191
:That was just the next step.
192
:Yeah, it was cool.
193
:really have GI Joe's either.
194
:I had maybe like one or two but after Return of the Jedi is 1983 And so there weren't that
many toys coming out from them until the 90s.
195
:And so the Transformers really fit that That niche right then when you're like eight or
nine years old For us at least
196
:Yeah, we had a couple of the few Star Wars action figures, the smaller ones.
197
:I wasn't really much into G.I.
198
:Joe.
199
:And then that's around the same time that Cabbage Patch Kids became the craze.
200
:That was the most coveted toy in the mid 80s.
201
:Yeah.
202
:era.
203
:mad dash for those right around this time.
204
:If we had straight up fist fights for those things in stores.
205
:Yeah.
206
:Uh-huh.
207
:I'm still surprised at the fact that my mom was able to get a couple of those from my
sister.
208
:How'd you get those?
209
:Like you see the news reports, it is like mayhem in the malls.
210
:Came home with like two of them, I'm like, wow.
211
:I remember some kids showed up at school with one and everybody was just crowding around
like, oh my God, you got it.
212
:And that was like right when it first came out.
213
:Yeah, it's funny too.
214
:I remember, cause my dad was into like crafting and like just making, making patterns,
using patterns to make like uniforms and things like that.
215
:So you go to some of the craft stores and you see like the head, the replica head and
people were actually like making them and selling them, but they didn't have the signature
216
:from the guy.
217
:He had the little signature on the butt.
218
:Xavier, yeah.
219
:something.
220
:Yeah, they didn't have a signature so you could tell like, if somebody was trying to sell
you a knockoff one or not, because you didn't have the signature on it.
221
:Mm-hmm.
222
:Yeah.
223
:That's good.
224
:Yeah, every once in a while one of those toys will pop off and it's like, Tickle Me Elmo
was another one and fights about that.
225
:We got one at one point, Furbies and Tamagotchis.
226
:Interesting.
227
:Yeah.
228
:Man.
229
:was glad that even though I had, you know, I had, you know, I wanted toys and things like
that.
230
:I never, none of the toys that I wanted were any of those crazy ones.
231
:It was like standard, like yeah, Transformers, yeah.
232
:If you got, if you went out ahead of time, you can find them.
233
:You know, Star Wars, same thing.
234
:GI Joe figures, yeah, you can find them.
235
:But yeah.
236
:ridiculous crazed ones.
237
:Nope.
238
:I think the craziest one though was the, that I did want was the Nintendo when it first came out.
239
:The first, yeah, but other than that, everything else was pretty easy to get the hands on.
240
:I was going to say that in the video game consoles and the big games, those were the most
coveted things for quite a while, as we got the late 80s and then into the 90s and beyond.
241
:Yeah.
242
:All right, trip down memory lane with the toys.
243
:We'll talk a little bit about, you know, brief discussion about like the plot and what were some of the other key elements that you liked in the film.
244
:I'll kick it off.
245
:I'm an Anthony Ramos fan.
246
:I mentioned before, like I liked him from Hamilton, which we reviewed.
247
:He was in In the Heights, another Lin-Manuel Miranda special.
248
:He's becoming more and more.
249
:visible in a lot of movies.
250
:I just like his swag and his style.
251
:He's a cool customer that you can, he's likable, I should say.
252
:I liked his connection with his little brother, Chris, who had some health challenges.
253
:And I just liked the way Chris was tied in with Mirage.
254
:And he told him at one point, watch out for my brother and that they were communicating
the whole time.
255
:That was really touching.
256
:That was like one key thing that stood out.
257
:In addition, obviously to the battles, the battles were really cool.
258
:Boogie, what were some of your favorite parts of the film?
259
:Yeah, so definitely in addition to that connection between Noah and Chris and Mirage, yeah, there were just like little things that I was picking up here.
260
:And like you mentioned the one liner regarding Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
261
:There was something that I always noticed that I noticed as well was when Elena got
nervous, she started singing.
262
:She first song she was singing Groove Thing by Zhané.
263
:which they were hiding in the museum.
264
:And also she was singing Waterfalls by TLC when they were flying inside Stratosphere en route to Peru.
265
:And also, like I said, there was a couple of other things that I noticed, one thing was
Noah, like little things, like Noah was wearing a pair of Air Jordan 6 Carmines when they
266
:were opening up the pathway.
267
:the Hidden Pathway in Peru to go underground.
268
:And I looked at them, those were originally released in 1991.
269
:And those are one of the most beloved pairs of Jordan sneakers in the hip hop community.
270
:And I was like, he's got a pair on, he's creasing them.
271
:Ha ha ha.
272
:Hahaha
273
:I know, he went on this adventure in Peru and he's wearing his nice Jordan 6's, like come
on man.
274
:If he only knew back then how much he would be coveting at this stage in life, he wouldn't
have done it.
275
:But yeah, I think it was really good though.
276
:I think the action was very well thought out.
277
:I did like how they introduced the Maximals because I've watched several episodes of the cartoons with them, so I was familiar with the characters.
278
:I do like how they finally introduced Unicron because I was wondering if they would ever
introduce Unicron into the Transformers live action universe.
279
:Unicron for us old heads, remember Unicron was from the original Transformers animated
motion picture.
280
:He was the main antagonist in that film.
281
:And he also tried to eat up, he ate up planets just like he was trying to do in this one.
282
:They did introduce Galvatron in the earlier, one of the earlier movies.
283
:I can't remember which one.
284
:So they couldn't, they didn't really bring them back, but they did bring one of
Galvatron's underlings in Scourge.
285
:They changed them somewhat because Scourge in the animated film was a, like a spaceship
fighter jet type machine.
286
:This one, they made them somewhat of a truck similar to Optimus Prime.
287
:But I mean, like I said, it was very good though.
288
:I enjoyed it.
289
:You know, and I did do a little, some little digging here and there.
290
:And I did see that the festival, Inti Raymi which is in Peru, when they're in Peru, is the
Festival of the Sun, which is the largest and most important festival in the Inca
291
:tradition.
292
:And it's in honor of Inti, the Sun God, and it takes place during the winter solstice.
293
:And even further, I have a date when most of the action took place in Peru, June 24th, 1994.
294
:a few days after my high school graduation.
295
:No.
296
:Hehehe
297
:That's good sleuthing work.
298
:Yes.
299
:was great.
300
:I love that.
301
:Did you notice also you talk about Incans, they had the name Amaru, which was Tupac's
name, which we discussed when we went to the Dear Mama series.
302
:Yep.
303
:yep.
304
:That was great.
305
:I wasn't too familiar with the Maximals because I wasn't as deep a fan.
306
:So I enjoyed seeing the animals and the name, just the name Optimus Primal for the.
307
:or the ape type animal, yeah.
308
:Yeah.
309
:It's like I used to play a Transformers game on my phone.
310
:So I used to play with Optimus Primal, Cheetor, Rhinox.
311
:They're all characters in the game.
312
:So I sort of was, oh, wow, they finally brought them to the live action.
313
:That's cool.
314
:some funny lines in the movie.
315
:There's one part when Bumblebee blurts out, you can't handle the truth.
316
:And Optimus Primal tells him no more going to the drive-in theaters anymore.
317
:Ha ha ha.
318
:he picked up a lot of his vocabulary from the movies because he was shouting out like
lines from 80s movies.
319
:Yeah, that was good.
320
:Optimus Primal actually said the line about more than meets the eye, which that's a legendary commercial for all of us that grew up on them.
321
:How everybody used to just quote that, like, Transformers, more than meets the eye,
Transformers, robots in disguise.
322
:Yep.
323
:So, I was waiting to hear that line.
324
:Hahaha.
325
:Yeah, it was a fun movie.
326
:like that they finally introduced Wheeljack too.
327
:I didn't like how as much as they did them.
328
:I think it was a little cooler in the cartoon, but it was, yeah, it's finally put
Wheeljack in.
329
:Made him a Volkswagen bus though.
330
:I like the rally car version better, but.
331
:I always struggle with how they change things between say the cartoon or the toy itself
and then you know how they change them in the comic books, how they change them in movies
332
:and so do you need to use the same name if we all knew Wheeljack as a Lancia?
333
:Yeah.
334
:I mean, it was all right.
335
:And it was fun to see Cristo Fernandez be the voice of Wheeljack.
336
:It was kind of fun.
337
:From, he's Dani Rojas in Ted Lasso.
338
:The other cool maximal was Airazor, the bird was like a falcon, it looked like, who at one
point was kind of brainwashed by the Terrorcons and was kind of like...
339
:turning heel sort of like out of his mind.
340
:Yeah, her brain was corrupted.
341
:that's right.
342
:Yeah.
343
:I like that scene.
344
:Yeah, no matter the cost.
345
:Yeah, so for old hip hop heads, you wanna get a slice of nostalgia pie, dig into
Transformers Rise of the Beasts.
346
:I love when movies do this and they take you back.
347
:What was the one?
348
:I think was it Captain Marvel?
349
:I think was set like in the 90s.
350
:There was a lot of like alternative 90s songs and that.
351
:And yeah, it just takes you right back to the era that they add those little nuances.
352
:Yeah.
353
:Yeah.
354
:So I like when things are set like that and they do their homework and make it line up.
355
:Like one of the things I noticed too, Reek's character was wearing some classic 90s
clothing as well in the scene, I forgot to mention this, when in the beginning of the
356
:film, when Noah and Chris are leaving their apartment building so that Noah can take Chris to his appointment and then run to his interview and he hands...
357
:the cable box that he was working on, Reek was wearing a Walker Wear jersey.
358
:So, Walker Wear, we've mentioned Walker Wear because April Walker was mentioned in the Ladies First documentary and Walker Wear was her brand.
359
:And Reek was wearing one of her jerseys in the movie.
360
:And also at the end in that cut scene where Hypnotize is playing and Noah is...
361
:working on the car, he's wearing a Karl Kani Jeans shirt.
362
:I was like, KKJ, I'm like, Karl Kani Jeans Ha ha ha.
363
:Good pick up.
364
:You're all I'm thinking it was Cross Colours or Benetton in here.
365
:And complete.
366
:Right.
367
:I'm surprised they didn't have Cross Colours in back then.
368
:That was high time for that.
369
:I guess Cross Colours was more like early 90s.
370
:So like a little before, like late 80s, early 90s.
371
:But anyway, yeah, it was Karl Kani.
372
:You still have Karl Kani jeans stuff Levi?
373
:Do you still have Karl Kani?
374
:Oh, no.
375
:Oh, man.
376
:The big across the front.
377
:Alexander Julian.
378
:Ha ha ha!
379
:It's funny because Reek and Anthony Ramos, they're younger than us, so they probably don't
even feel all that nostalgia putting that stuff on.
380
:Great.
381
:We appreciate it.
382
:Speaking of Reek, I like the song, On My Soul that played a couple of times in the movie.
383
:That's the only song in the movie that wasn't a 90s hip hop.
384
:It was Tobi Nwingwe, Nas and Jacob Banks.
385
:Good song though, very inspirational.
386
:Kind of uplifting, like, it's a good song.
387
:It was a conversation between Noah and Elena when they were talking about the neighborhood
they were from.
388
:And they mentioned Tony's Pizza and Knickerbocker and Green.
389
:So of course I had to look it up.
390
:And it's there.
391
:Yeah, they did their homework.
392
:Yeah.
393
:I always try to look for little things to see if they really did their homework or if they
just threw something in there for the sake of the film.
394
:Mm-hmm.
395
:I was like, yep, it's there, it's there.
396
:That would be funny if they would have mentioned Sal's pizza and then it's gonna cross over with Do the Right Thing.
397
:Yeah, you remember.
398
:You know, Sal's Pizza, Sal's Famous in Bed-Stuy?
399
:Heh heh.
400
:Yeah, my man Mookie used to deliver to us.
401
:Wait a second.
402
:That would have been like, whoa.
403
:Mind blown, yeah.
404
:Whoa.
405
:yeah, all in all, you guys want to wrap it up?
406
:Give us the ratings for this film?
407
:All right, so Boogie for Transformers, Rise of the Beasts from 2023.
408
:Bring that funky flick back or leave it in the vault.
409
:I'll bring that funky flick back.
410
:Right on.
411
:DynoWright?
412
:I'll bring this funky flick back.
413
:I also will bring this funky flick back.
414
:like these retro Transformers movies more than the original ones.
415
:Like I really enjoy Bumblebee.
416
:And I like this one.
417
:Yeah, this is the first one I've seen since the first one, so I guess I should go back and watch the other ones, but I don't know, that wasn't all that bowled over by the first one,
418
:so...
419
:Yeah.
420
:It's funny, so many of my friends said, did you see the new Transformers?
421
:There's so much 90s hip hop in it.
422
:There's so much, you gotta watch it, you gotta watch it.
423
:There's so much 90s hip hop in it.
424
:So that's why I brought it up to you guys.
425
:It's like, hey, let's do this film.
426
:Because it's right up our alley, yeah.
427
:yeah, I was trying to figure out like, what this, did they need to go back to 1994 for this?
428
:And I wasn't sure I had a good answer for it, but 90s hip hop works for me.
429
:The Bumblebee takes place before this one.
430
:It goes back even further.
431
:Bumblebee stand alone film, go back even further.
432
:Yeah.
433
:So it does align with some of the sequencing.
434
:This is a prequel to some other ones, I think, right?
435
:So there is a reason for the 94, if you're really into the Transformer universe, yeah.
436
:Yeah, because in the Bumblebee film, he actually was a Volkswagen bug, be doing that one.
437
:And then at the end, he decides he wants to upgrade and then he turns into the Camaro.
438
:Okay.
439
:I was like, okay, I'll buy it now.
440
:Cause they will ride by a vehicle and just scan the vehicle and then they can change their
form into that vehicle.
441
:I was like, okay, all right, I'll go with it.
442
:All right.
443
:haha
444
:All right.
445
:Shout out to your listeners, thanks for tuning in.
446
:And remember, don't hate, substantiate.
447
:Substantiate.
448
:Nice.
449
:Be facts-based.
450
:Data
451
:driven.
452
:That's right.
